Beverages crafted from the goodness of plants, also referred to as “plant milk” or “plant-based milk,” are produced by extracting plant matter, such as seeds or grains, in water. They are frequently used in place of dairy milk. Many were surprised to learn that dairy milk and plant-based beverages are able to offer you wholesome dietary benefits from a nutritional standpoint. If you’re curious about the motives that compel people to opt out of dairy, the lactose, the sugar found in dairy products, is intolerable to many adults. Bloating, discomfort, and diarrhoea may occur if they consume dairy products such as cow’s milk or other by-products of dairy farming. In such cases, plant-based milk provides a lactose-free substitute for such persons.
But there are also ethical reasons that prompt people to transition to a vegan lifestyle. With plant-based beverages on the rise, bollywood actor Disha Patani has been named an ambassador for the plant-based beverage brand Sofit by Hershey India Pvt Ltd, a division of the American chocolate and snack manufacturing company The Hershey Company.
Hershey’s India MD speaks of the initiative
According to the company, the partnership would reinforce the brand’s ‘Fit is Fab’ ethos. Patani will join John Abraham, an actor who has been linked to the company for more than seven years. The corporation says they support healthy living collectively, and their shared beliefs about fitness and health are consistent with the core message of the brand. Additionally, the actors will appear in a television commercial.
Geetika Mehta, managing director, Hershey India said: “It is a brand of strategic importance for us. With consumers becoming increasingly health conscious and moving towards mindful eating, Patani is an ideal fit for it. She is an epitome of fitness and complements the brand. We are happy to have her on board.”
Disha and John share their two cents on the move
Patani said, “I am excited to be partnering with them. The brand personifies the attributes of a healthy and active lifestyle, and this aspect makes it an apt choice for fitness enthusiasts. I strongly believe that when you’re fit from the inside, you feel fab on the outside and this does exactly that.” On the other hand, John Abraham added, “I am delighted to welcome Disha to this family. My affinity towards the brand is inspired by our common belief in health and fitness. As advocates for healthy living, I hope Disha and I continue to inspire consumers to lead a healthier lifestyle through our association with them.”
The celebrity couple will also appear in Sofit’s newest TVC, which urges viewers to adopt an active lifestyle and emphasises the need of being fit from the inside out by making healthy choices.
