ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Astros right fielder Kyle Tucker achieved his first career 100-RBI season in his hometown of Tampa on Tuesday, adding a significant milestone to an already impressive year.
With a contingent of family and friends cheering him on from right field, Tucker drove in Jose Altuve on a soaring double in the opening inning for the game’s first run and his 100th RBI. His benchmark hit helped the Astros to a 5-0 win over the Rays in the second of three games at Tropicana Field.
